Price Range: Cheap
Score: 6.5/10 (if you're a Uni student or enjoy quantity over everything else), 4/10 if you are not either of those earlier categories.
The place isn't flash, at a stretch "nostalgic late 80s" so perhaps not a first date venue.
The serving sizes were massive, you call Una's or Essen had large schnitzels? They're not large schnitzels, this is a large schnitzel. But there comes a point where sacrificing quality for quantity goes too far and it's very possible that White Cockatoo has crossed that line.
Nothing wrong with the food per se (although the calamari were a shade of grey so maybe steer clear), but the schnitzel and beef rib just didn't taste like much and the chips weren't even worth the stomach space. You'll probably love it if you're a student (or similar) who wants a cheap and massive meal and you'll notice the regulars...they're the ones sharing one plate between 2-3 people.
