We had Crossing Bridge Noodles when we lived in Kunming and remember it to be unspectacular, the whole romance about Crossing Bridge Noodles is in the story. This was similarly unspectacular so we guess it's pretty authentic. Soup was no where near hot enough, maybe because there's more meat here than you'd traditionally get and that absorbed all the heat. Taste was fine, kind of like a standard noodle soup taste.
Enochi was surprisingly sour/vinegary.
Tripe we don't care much for but it was edible.
The chicken was probably the best. Good "ma la" flavour without being too skimpy with the Sichuan pepper (although a touch more wouldn't go astray and would make it more authentic). Kind of what Spice Temple tries to serve but doesn't.
