We love Cabramatta, we've said it before, we'll say it again.
We went twice on consecutive days. Luckily both times we've been here there's been no line (we have an aversion to lines). First time at 2pm, second time at 6.30pm (they close at 7pm on Sundays).
We wondered how good this place could be after hearing about it for a few years. Deceptively simple looking Vietnamese crispy chicken but very soft and tasty. We on our first visit and our co-eaters on both visits looked at the chicken sceptically when it first came out only to mumble a few seconds later "hmmm, good chicken".
Personally we preferred the rice, the pickled vegetables were nice but the noodle soup version was fine, nice clear broth which didn't seem too MSG infused. Good 3 colour drink too.
It's true that most Vietnamese places specialise in one dish only. The pork wasn't as great so go for the chicken.
