Base was thin without being wafer like, lacked the chewiness that differentiates places like Il Canale or Via Napoli (on a good day). Oddly enough the base was chewier the next day, maybe the glutens had more time to rest by then.
Not mind blowing, we could tell from looking at the margherita that it wouldn't be but still it was pretty good. Better than your standard corner pizza shop or gourmet chain.
