Price: Cheap but not too cheap
Service: Pass (but slow)
1/2 a fried chicken
No sign outside just listen for noise and a look for door
Inside, there is a sign saying " please wait to be seated " at the top of the stairs... Not very useful when half the available seating is downstairs.
Those two factors should have given us an indication of what was to come.
20 minute wait for a table, 25 minute wait for food (we went at 2pm).
Burger bun was good but that's where it ends. The burger itself tasted just the same as McDonald's, patty was about as thin as McDonalds and at $14 it's almost 7x more expensive. Supposedly Mary's burgers are modelled on Shake Shack but you can see for yourself here that drawing that link is as similar as comparing the market with comparing a meerkat. To top it off it's almost triple the price of Shake Shack as well.
Fried Chicken tasted ok and was nice and juicy but it's so oily that the batter became soggy due to the excessive amount of oil. This doesn't even happen for KFC.
There were also UFB's (Unidentified Floating Bits) in both our water glasses.
