Roti pisang was ok, lacked bananas and the chocolate sprinkles didn't sit with the inner purist. On reflection it's quite authentic (we're sure some mamak stores in Malaysia put chocolate sprinkles and they don't use much banana) but bananas are cheap again so no harm in putting more in.
Let's just say a good ice kacang seems very hard to find. This failed on a number of fronts hence the low overall score - too much red syrup, not enough topping (as in beans, jellies, jackfruit etc), ice too coarse, ridiculous bowl which didn't allow eating of the dessert without half of the dessert falling out of the bowl.
Still sticking to roti canai only.
