Banana, walnut and honey
More expensive than the crepe place under HSBC in the city but we think these ones are much better. The crepe seems more authentically French, not as French as Prague (yes oddly enough one of the best crêpes we've eaten was from a French guy in Prague) but still very elastic in texture which is something most creperies miss.
Skip the salted caramel milk shake, another $7 milkshake fail (technically $6.50 milkshake fail).
Will be back to try savoury crêpes.
Visit two (1 week later)
Egg, ham, swiss cheese and avacado galette
Cheese, chicken, tomato
We said we'd be back for savoury and since our friends couldn't get their act together we went without them.
For savoury these guys do galettes which are made from buck wheat. So it's different from most other places we've come across e.g. Spuds n crepes and the Asian places like Mother's Crepe.
Both of today's offerings were very good.
The galette is airier... The closest comparison we can think of is dosai vs roti pratha (Malaysian Indian flat bread versions). Actually Four Frogs' galette vs crepe are essentially the French equivalent of Malaysia's dosai vs roti pratha.
To get the best of both worlds we recommend sharing galette then getting a crepe.
