Price: Slightly High
Linguini with scampi, white wine, cherry tomato, parsley and chilli
Squid Ink Tajarin with blue swimmer crab, asparagus, grape tomato bottarga and chives
Pistachio and Nougat Semi Fredo
Pretty good overall. Scallops were really nice and the squid ink pasta was good too (but it has a strong "ocean" taste). It had potential to be exciting but didn't quite get there.
Would probably suggest the tagliatelle and a main/meat dish in future (purely a guess).
Pasta itself was different to most house made pasta. Chewy and firm but it lacked the springiness that's normally associated with non-mass produced pasta (although we've noticed this is usually the case for spaghetti shaped pasta, flat pasta tends to be springier).
Pistachio and nougat semifredo was pretty good, tiramisu was better than La Pesa but not as good as Via Napoli (probably higher cream and less/no egg whites).
