Price: Cheap but not too cheap
Ate: Gyoza, pork bun, Shiomaru ramen and Karaka Men
AH has been here twice. First time it was OK with the pork buns not as good at Momofuku but a winner because Ippudo was more convenient to get to. After the second visit the words "beyond average. Terrible almost" were uttered.
Gyoza - "skin" well made and thin
Pork bun - plus points for a very fluffy bun but we think one could replicate this at home with store bought or home made buns, chinese cha siu and cabbage. $5 would probably make 10.
Broth is thinner (some chefs say this indicates more skill) but failed on this occassion because it just tasted like salt. Noodles were way too thin for our liking whether that's the "hakata style" or not.
Overall quality ingredients but not head over heels from this sitting. Not worth waiting in line for.
NB: Their takeaway menu features a whole 2 choices in ramen and no pork buns takeaway. Both instances which we find ridiculous.

Ate: Zundo White and Tan tan men
This place feels like Japan with its menu on wooden things on the wall.
Definitely liked these noodles better, thicker and well textured.
The soup here was still salty but much thicker and more akin to what we expect to be "tonkotsu" ramen. The cha shu was 50% fat. Some people would say that's good but we wouldn't.
Tan tan men was too oily
Worth going back to try their normal ramen
