Even if we generally like 1 hat places more than 2 or 3 hatted places we cannot believe this is 2 hats...
We left feeling unfulfilled.
Quality ingredients, well cooked and each part was fairly tasty but on the end it was too try hard. It just felt all over the shop.
Why have a small piece of beef and veal on the same dish when they don't complement each other? It also meant the kale, sweet potato and massive leaf were watching from the side without a dance partner.
Skate was served "on the cartilage" but either that was a lie or we misheard cartilage when the waiter really said rib cage...
Apparently their lamb is good, we don't know if we'll ever try.
Beer sorbet not as good as Pilu. Honey was nice but we found the wax to be a little socially awkward to spit out after we had chewed out the honey.
Strawberries and cream was a very poor nod to Eaton Mess.
Parfait was fairly decent, also fairly mundane but at least it was tasty.
