We were reminiscing about the fact that 10 years ago one would have struggled to find a good French bistro but now there are a plethora to choose from. Although there are still plenty of bad ones too.
Bistrot Gavroche is up there. Maybe not as good as Le Bouchon or Cafe Lyon but pretty close.
Crab entree was good, lots of crab flavour
Lamb main was generally good. Could have done more with the ring of fat to make it tastier.
Beef was good but chips not crunchy enough
Tart tartin was a bit too sweet
Charlotte was good
