Very well cooked and very tasty. Desserts this time were much better than the last time we ate there.
No "sunburst" moments but entree and main were solid and dessert topped off a good meal. Just what a restaurant should do.
Toothfish - apparently a very popular/common fish in Perth but we don't see it much. Really good fish though, solid flesh
Quail - solid
John Dory - very tasty although whatever the green puree is it's a bit salty
Duck - recommended by the wait staff and it was a very good dish. Huge breast of duck with no annoying bones and very tasty
Apple brulee - Enjoyed by one of dining party but not the other. Nice honey tones and elderflower ice cream, the apple brulee itself was interesting but didn't really do much. AH would say the foam is "so 2009" (or whatever year it was). Overall a decent dessert.
Montagne au chocolate - Great. A very good chai mousse covering a liquid chocolate centre plus all the other bits on the outside. It's very rich though
