Unfortunately, "it's ok" was all The Milk Bar could muster from us on this visit. Burgers taste fine but little things like cheese still in slabs and not melted and the Italian being plain detracted. The Orient Express milkshake for all the mention of green tea didn't taste like green tea (vanilla/lemon one was better), fries were as an ex-workmate would describe "stodgy" i.e. undercooked, "freaking awesome" chicken wings not freaking awesome (I know they're not meant to be battered but really fried chicken without batter is not fried chicken). Anyway you get the drift...it's fine for a potentially cheap meal and the milkshake serving size is generous but don't expect to be blown away.
It should have been good...other blogs rave about this place (ok that's not necessarily a good sign), they make their own burger buns and unlike the milk bars of our youth these guys use good quality ingredients so the stage was set.
